Question: "Do you have a minimum order requirement?
Answer: Yes I am afraid we do. The minimum order is for USD$ 75.00, or Euros 60.00 or Australian $ 100.00 or 50 Pounds Sterling.
Unfortunately we are no longer able to process very small orders, due to the time spent in packing.

Question: "Do you ship to the USA?"
Answer: We ship anywhere in the world. All your orders are well packed with plenty of padding, so that you can expect your specimens to arrive with you in the very best condition.

Question: "How much will my order cost to post, and how long will it take to arrive?"
Answer:  We have two standard postage rates on all parcels. Any shipment (regardless of size) outside the United Kingdom by first class airmail is US$ 10.00  or by express mail is US$ 25.00.
Usual transit times to the USA are 5-7 days for airmail and 2-3 days for express. The same applies for all other countries.

Question: " Do I require a Cites Permit?"
Answer: You only require a Cites permit for Ornithoptera and Troides, all other species that are listed in our catalogues are exempt. The cost of a Cites permit, which we obtain fro you is US$20.00 per shipment, regardless of size or the number of species. However, customers within the European Union do not require a Cites Permit, as the species listed have already been imported to the European Union under Cites.

Question: "Will I have trouble importing my specimens through customs, and will they charge me a fee?"
Answer: Most definitely NOT. All orders are sent with a "contents list" on the outside of the package, and listed as "for scientific use only". None of your parcels are classified as commercial and therefore there are no import taxes at your end.
Note: Very large parcels for commercial use i.e. artwork, may require an import permit at your end, if in doubt, just contact us first, and we will be able to advise you.

Question: "How do I know my specimens will arrive OK?"
Answer: We have been sending specimens for more than fifteen years, and I believe we pack the best. We also guarantee all our material against defects and damage. If in the unlikely event that you do have any problems please let us know as soon as possible. We stand by what we sell.

Question: "Do you supply specimens already set ready for mounting?"
Answer: Sorry we do not. All our specimens are supplied papered for you to prepare and mount.
